A Plant-Based Milk Alternative and Dairy Free Infant Formula
Ameal LLC is a plant-based milk alternative and dairy-free infant formula, “Made by a Mother for Our Babies”. The development of Ameal began during the pandemic in September of 2020. What inspired the creation of Ameal was my youngest daughter, Tehiana King. At the beginning of her life, I breastfed. I breastfed my first Avana King for the first ten months of her life. Due to increased stress levels and added responsibilities, I only breastfed Tehiana for the first month or two. I began to substitute with a plant-based milk alternative infant formula.
Why plant-based? Too much dairy doesn’t sit well on my family’s stomach. Soon after Tehiana began the plant-based infant formula, severe constipation and upset stomach began, which created long nights of excruciating pain. As a mother, I hated to see my baby in such pain, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. I began researching infant formula, and from that research, I started to develop my infant formula. Through trial and error, I created an infant formula that completely alleviated my daughter’s constipation and upset stomach. Ameal is made with gentle ingredients on the stomach and is easy to digest.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I lost my job, and it was hard to keep all the ingredients in my new infant formula that I had created on hand. Sadly, and reluctantly, I had to give her soy infant formula till I got the extra money. Immediately, I noticed severe constipation and upset stomach had come back almost right away! I couldn’t stand it, so I borrowed money from my family to buy the ingredients for Ameal.
Once I got all my ingredients, the constipation and upset stomach went away instantly, and we both could obtain a good night’s sleep again. At that moment, I knew I had something that worked and something that I wanted to share with other mothers whose babies may have similar issues. I also like to share Ameal with those who prefer a plant-based lifestyle. What’s different about Ameal in comparison to other infant formula? Ameal is made with non-GMO, sugar-free, no additives, chemical-free, gluten-free, plant-based, vegan, USDA organic, and easy to digest INGREDIENTS. Most importantly, Ameal is made with love.
